Tri-Star MAX Steel: Tanker Truck Drive-In Containment:
Tri-Star MAX surface mounted drive-in containment for tanker trucks of all sizes. The modular design is built around heavy-duty steel panels, standard length 7ft long (two standard widths, 13ft and 16ft wide), these panels are bolted together and sealed with a proven gasket and caulking method to provide a leak proof joint. By joining panels together the end user can provide heavy duty containment sumps for all sizes of tanker trucks. Wall heights for the sumps can vary from 6”, 8”, 9” and 10” based on the capacity requirements of the vehicle to be contained. Wall height is not a factor in pricing. A standard dimension for a 2,500g Army HEMTT is 42ft by 13ft by 9 in high, and provides 2,850g of surface containment. Our longest system to date is 224ft long and services tanker trucks off-loading of at a series of large fuel tanks. The 16ft width is used to accommodate larger capacity vehicles where length is an issue.
Heavy-Duty Steel Ramps can be attached to both ends of the Truck Containment System; and come in three standard lengths. Drain Ports are include in all four corners of the spill containment system and a Filter Box can be attached to any of these Drain Ports to allow water to flow freely from the system. The Filter Box contain spill sorbents to catch any hydro-carbons, while allowing rainwater to flow freely from the truck containment system.
The 42’ x 13’ x 9” Tri-Star Max Spill Containment System was specifically designed for the HEMTT Fuel Tanker used by the US Army. The 77’ x 16’ x 9” was offered to accommodate the Air Force and ANG R-11 Fuel Tankers.
