The Tri-Star Spill Containment System is now offered as a “one piece” spill containment sump for ease of relocation. 12 years in the field with the Tri-Star MAX Containment Systems has demonstrated that about 50% of the systems are relocated within the first three years! This is one major advantage of the Tri-Star Steel Spill Containment System over a Concrete Spill Containment System. As Spill Containment requirements change around the base or job site, Tri-Star Spill Containment Systems can be relocated to maximize efficiency.
All surface-mounted Tri-Star Spill Containment Systems can be relocated, however the Tri-Star OPS design stands alone cause it requires no assembly. The one-piece containment sump can quickly be hoisted onto a transport truck and transported to a new location. A crane is required to lift these large heavy-duty steel sumps; lifting lugs are built into the tri-linear walls for four point lifting.
The Tri-Star OPS Spill Containment System comes in one width 12′, and sump lengths up to 40′ long. The 40′ length is designated to contain the HEMTT Tanker Re-Fueler used by the US Army. The sump walls are available in heights up to 10 inches high. Due to the size of the Steel Containment Pan, the Tri-Star OPS must be transported via “Wide Load Permit” on the open highways. One truck can handle up to 5 systems.
